Face-to-face quizzes for multiple teams of 3 students, with question rounds provided by the GA suitable for the Y8-10 age range (other year groups may be allowed to take part at the discretion of the local organiser). Each quiz is arranged for schools in your area by a local organiser. New question sets plus guidance notes are available from the start of September each year. Past years' questions sets can be downloaded below.
In order to be considered for the main prize of an invitation to take part in the Worldwise Challenge your Local Quiz should have taken place by the end of December each year.
How to enter?
There may already be an established event between schools in your area that you can join (possibly coordinated by the local GA branch) or you may wish to organise a new event yourself - either by inviting local schools to join up with yours or by running it as an 'in-house' event. If you would like to be put in contact with your nearest existing event or are interested in registering a new event simply email rgill@geography.org.uk with your request.
